Summary
Add a SummaryAfter her family dies in a car crash, Ever can see auras and hear people's life story with a single touch. Turning almost hermit-like, Ever transforms from a popular, preppy goddess to a alienated, social pariah. She hides herself in hoodies and blasts music in hopes that she can tune out everything around her and be a normal teenager once again. When she meets Damen, the new kid at school, however, the auras are muted and she can finally exist in white noise. But being with Damen is not as easy as she thought and a whole new world Ever never thought possible opens up.
Since the car accident that claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras and hear people's thoughts, and she goes out of her way to hide from other people until she meets Damen, another psychic teenager who is hiding even more mysteries.

Comment
Add a CommentDamen had way too much control over Ever and she is extremely self centered. The series was good to a point but it seemed like their bond wasn't anything more than obsession. Then again, I suppose that's all high school kids really are, superficial and conceited.
I loved Evermore!! It was so addicting that I couldn't put the book down!
This is very much in the Twilight formula, in which the romance between a hot paranormal guy and a girl is the driving force of the novel, with little else going on. But this features a heroine who can't get out of her own way, which is totally annoying and gets old quickly. There would have been very little drama if the heroine functioned at all, and most of the problems would have been solved easily if she had even moderate skills. If you like your paranormal romances to come with plot, I suggest trying the far superior Vampire Academy series or the Need series. If you can't get enough Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, and you don't care much for plot, then you'll probably like this.
I think what I liked about this was the concept of seeing auras and the general idea of the school and the parking lot (which I think was a starting point for most events, right?) The little I do recall about Ever is mostly her reclusive loner status which gave me a better idea of the character. I liked Damen up until the end where he started over explaining everything. It was a buzz kill, especially given that the author kept suggesting that he was a vampire. It was misleading in a bad way, and her explanation was almost insulting. I lost interesting in continuing the series because of that explanation which in turn completely colored what I liked about Ever. Disappointing over all.
This is a really good series, it went on a little long but all in all it was very enjoyable. The first one was definitely my favourite, i couldn't put it down!
I loved this book!!! Each book in the series gets better and better.
loved it. one thing i didnt like is when he kisses her its not detailed and that makes me feels like she doesnt love him. when its not detailed that means there nothing special about but she says she loves and all and i dont get it.
Surprised that I got to the 3rd book... it had an intriguing summary, but it lacked characters I could connect with. Damen was boring and I started to get annoyed with Ever for being so head over heels for him. I have given up on this series. Too boring.
I thought this book was good and well written. It deffinatly kept my interest. I had the second book Blue Moon cheaked out when i cheaked out this one but once I started reading Blue Moon it kept repeating the same info i already knew so i stopped reading it. I might try it again one day but Evermore was a good book all and all.
I LOVE THIS BOOK SOOOOO MUCH! I really hope that it wont be boring later on, but from the comments I read people say its boring... Anyways I LOVE evermore..
