"Kylie Galen believes that if she can just uncover what she is, all the other uncertainties in her life will suddenly make sense. And things really need to make sense right now. For starters, her heart is still torn between Lucas and Derek--or it was. Now, she's beginning to wonder if she was wrong about both boys. But it's not just romance that's leaving Kylie conflicted. She's also being haunted by an amnesia-striken ghost who can't remember who she is. Complicating matters even more is the message the spirit brings from the world beyond: Death is imminent for someone at Shadow Falls Camp--and this time, there's nothing Kylie can do to stop it.."-- Provided by publisher.

All the characters are fun to get to know and the plot keeps you guessing as to what will happen next. I love this series and can't wait to see what happens next!

happy96 summary~ it's very true that life can sometimes seem impossible and giving up is always the easiest thing to do, but its perserverance through those challlenging times that build character and helped lead Kylie to finally discovering what she is.

Interesting how the whole theme of racism plays out in these stories. Good topic of discussion for teens and parents that Hunter snuck in there under the premise of supernatural adventure.

This is my fave series ever! I admit, I liked Red and sorta wanted him and Kylie together, but I like her and lucas too. I am so excited for the next book because this one ended in suspense.

I Cant Wait Until The Next One, Whispers at Moonrise!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Step into Shadow Falls, a camp for teens with supernatural powers. Here friendship thrives, love takes you by surprise, and our hearts possess the greatest magic of all.

Kylie Galen wants the truth so badly she can taste it. The truth about who her real family is, the truth about which boy she’s meant to be with—and the truth about what her emerging powers mean. But she’s about to discover that some secrets can change your life forever…and not always for the better.

Just when she and Lucas are finally getting close, she learns that his pack has forbidden them from being together. Was it a mistake to pick him over Derek? And it’s not just romance troubling Kylie. An amnesia-stricken ghost is haunting her, delivering the frightful warning, someone lives and someone dies. As Kylie races to unravel the mystery and protect those she loves, she finally unlocks the truth about her supernatural identity, which is far different—and more astonishing—than she ever imagined. (From Goodreads)

Kylie Galen is no ordinary girl. She is a supernatural. The twist is that she doesn't know what she is. That's the question of her life. When she thinks she knows who she is, her pattern changes. The one thing she does know is that she can talk to ghost and help them finish what they started in the physical world. When Kylie finally gets close to Lucas she is pushed away by his pack. The mysteries never end. The questions keep coming, and the answers are had to find. Someone that may like this book is someone who is into mysteries and supernaturals. The reason i picked this book is that i read the first two in the series and was left wondering what was coming next. This is very good series to read. The author kept me hooked the whole time. A lesson I was able to pull from this book is that there may be times in your life when you want to give up but you need to keep going. Fight for what you want.

“When he didn't answer, she didn't know if it was because he couldn't or if he was back to not talking to her. Back to pushing her out of his life.
Men!
Why was it that boys said girls were so hard to understand, when she hadn't known a single guy who hadn't confused her to the point of screaming?”

“You will be what you are, and whatever it is, you will be fine. Everyone has to accept that and love you for who you are; it doesn’t really matter where your heritage comes from”
