Omaha Reads Book Discussion

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Description

Each year, Omaha Public Library encourages the community to join together in reading one book as part of Omaha Reads. This year we invite you to read "After the Flood" by Kassandra Montag. Please join us for a virtual discussion about the book! Registration is required.

Set more than 100 years in the future, “After the Flood,” tells the story of a mother desperately searching for her daughter across a world devastated by rising ocean waters and the crumbling of civilization.

Omaha Reads promotes literacy and provides the City with a common theme to discuss. One book is selected through a public vote and promoted through book talks, author visits, and related programs.

Limited copies of “After the Flood” available for discussion participants. Additional copies can be reserved for checkout and curbside pickup from the OPL catalog. To purchase a copy, visit The Bookworm.
