Join OPL the second Thursday of the month to read with fellow book lovers from all over Omaha for a silent reading party!

In this nontraditional book club, there are no assigned readings – you just read what you bring! All readers are welcome—e-books, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books… it's BYO Book.

Come settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the time, attendees can socialize—or not!

This is an outdoor event. Please feel free to bring food, drinks, blankets, and camp chairs. There is built in wooden seating at the park, as well as a sandy beach.

In case of bad weather, the Reading Party will move to the W. Clarke Swanson Branch, and we will make the decision by 2:00pm the day of the program.
