Teens are invited to join the Millard Branch's Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Earn volunteer hours while supporting and advocating for teens in the library.
What is TAB?
Members of TAB advocate, pilot programs, plan events, and give input. Teens advise OPL Staff on program and prize ideas, promote programs at their schools and to their circles of friends, and assist with year-round teen programming, with emphasis on the summer reading program and winter break.
Who can join TAB?
Any Omaha area teen, ages 12-18, or in grades 6-12. A teen who is 19 years old and enrolled in grade 12 can participate.
All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible. Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please email Nancy Novotny at NNovotny@omahalibrary.org to request accommodation. Requests must be made at least five business days before the activity or event.
