Join Omaha Public Library the first Thursday of the month to read with fellow book lovers from all over Omaha for a silent reading party!
In this nontraditional book club, there are no assigned readings – you just read what you bring! All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. However, if you pop in or forget your book, OPL will provide some reading materials for the duration of the program.
Come settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the time, attendees can socialize—or not!
This month we are at Dry Spokes!
Parking: There is free on-street parking on the south side of Leavenworth, and all along both sides of 19th street (east side of the building). We also share a parking lot with Shucks (south side of building) and that parking is available for free. There is metered parking on the north side of Leavenworth.
Ordering: We have QR codes at each seat that allows guests to order/open and close tabs directly from their seat. You can preview the menu at dryspokes.com.
Seating: We have a variety of seating that includes booths, chairs, couches, and bar stools.
Please note, no outside drinks are permitted.
