This is not like his usual books because there’s not much for SCI-FI or Supernatural but reality is sometimes more terrifying than any monster. You can almost feel the fear of being lost in the woods completely unprepared.

This is yet another "nonstandard" Stephen King book. It centers around 9 year old Trisha who while walking part of the Appalachian Trail with her mother and brother, gets lost. She's out in the woods alone for 10 days and frankly it wasn't…

Stephen King is a compelling writer. If you always associate him with supernatural or horror writing, try this instead: a nine-year-old girl is lost in the woods.

I liked this one a lot, though it felt like King threw some red herrings in there. I do like it when King departs from his usual super-scary stuff, though, and this book kept me hooked!

This really didn't sound like it would be a good book so I got it just to see what it was. It was great! Stephen King can make a book out of nothing.

I could feel the panic build as Tricia travels further away from civilization and deeper into the woods. A suspenseful, quick read.

I'll just cut to the chase and list the pros and cons of this book. Pros: Trisha (the lead) is a very likeable little girl, and never loses sight of the ultimate goal. Survival. For a nine year old girl that is impressive. Not to…

Okay people, don't get me wrong. SK is probably the best writer of modern times and MOST of his books are amazing. About 95% of his books are scary, horrifying, convincing, and just downright amazing. However, some of is stuff is bad.…

This little book won't deliver the kind of stuff that will knock your socks off but you will enjoy the characters. After reading a couple of King's works, I'm very impressed by the wide range of his imagination and his ability to write…

Not my favorite book by Mr. King, but it was a short and rather enjoyable read nonetheless.
