In southern Minnesota, a young man murders a local farmer, drops the body into a grain bin, and then calls the sheriff to report the "accident." Suspicious, the sheriff calls in Virgil Flowers, who quickly breaks the kid down. The next day the boy is found hanging in his cell. Virgil suspects foul play, and as he investigates, he begins to uncover a multigeneration, multifamily conspiracy--a series of crimes of such monstrosity that even he has difficulty in comprehending it.

John Sandford you should be flogged for saying that ugly thing about Grandma Moses. And them that let you print it should be flogged right along with you. Shame on all of you.

Virgil Flowers #4. In Homestead, Minnesota, the local all-American boy has murdered a local farmer. When he's later found dead in his cell, an apparent homicide, it's time to call in Flowers. Another fun read from Sandford, combining gruesome detail with hysterical banter.

Another great Virgil f@%king Flowers novel! If you read this series, you will learn that his colleagues refer to him in this manner, which Virgil admits he was offended by at first, but got used to it. Another first rate read by Mr. Sandford. Fast paced and very hard to put down!

Fun read, fast-paced, and despite being really predictable it is the perfect book for a weekend at the beach or a couple of days of rainy weather

As with most of Sandford's books, this was an excellent read. The bad guys were truly abhorrent and their endings were appropriate.

Bad Blood is a "Virgil Flowers" novel. Virgil is an investigator for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. His investigative methods often leave his superiors shaking their heads, but he gets results. Lots of twists and turns in this plot as Virgil uncovers a religious cult, child/sexual abuse, and pornography.

Really like what Sandford has done with his Virgil Flowers character in this book

He's back..that (expletive deleted) Flowers. As with Sandford's other series, you can't go wrong with these books. The bad guys (& girls) in this one are particularly heinous & some may find the plot subject too disturbing but Sandford always balances it with witty dialogue & characters we've come to know & enjoy from previous books. Look forward to the next one.

Another Virgil F*@!ing Flowers masterpiece. The only trouble with John Sandford's books is that I just don't do anything else until I'm finished.
