It was quite difficult for me to get into the flow of this sequel to "Poisson." However, the story picked up its pace about a quarter way in and it was worth its slow begining. I found "Poisson" more readable, not as wordy and pretentious. It still a decent read if you want to follow Francesca's life as the poisoner to Il Papa Borgia.

I read 65 pages and couldn't get into this book. Im not really sure what it was. There was nothing that held my attention. No gripping page turner here. I was daydreaming while reading so I gave up after 65 pages.
