Excellent story , strongly recommend this book .

A young boy named Hassan and his family left Somalia after his uncle was killed in the conflict there. They have resettled in England where Hassan struggles in his new school with classmates he cannot understand. A caring teacher and a translator help Hassan express his feelings through his paintings and he begins to adjust to his new life.
