On July 2, 2018, Omaha Public Library will implement auto-renewal of all materials. All checked out items will automatically be renewed up to a maximum of four times as long as there are no holds on the item. Items that are automatically renewed will still appear on email notices from the library. The new due date will be listed, along with a note stating the item was renewed. Auto-renewed items will renew from the due date, providing the maximum possible renewal length.
