No store-bought greeting card expresses your feelings, or flatters the one who receives it, like one you've made yourself. These 30 exquisite, professional-looking cards use texture, color, and layering to achieve fabulous looks with such simple materials as crinkled paper, scraps of ribbon, sequins, or flowers. The occasions and sentiments include Birthday Greetings, Thinking of You, Easter, Pet Bereavement, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Wedding, New Baby, Good Luck, New Home, Anniversary, and Christmas. And the projects offer a multitude of styles and techniques--from embossing and stamping paper to hand-tinting photographs, creating cut-outs, and gluing on acetate pockets. Crafters who try these designs will find the results so charming they may never buy another card again.

This is a very good book! I liked the simplicity of the designs. Many designs are ones that my daughter can use. Most cardmaking books I find the designs are a bit overworked but this one had many that I intend to use.
