CIA boss Lance Cabot hires Stone Barrington to watch over his brother Barton, a former army intelligence officer suffering from amnesia. Hot mahogany has it all. Lots of
wheeling and dealing, sex , old money
people who all know each orther.

Hot Mahogany : Stone Barrington, ex-NYPD now lawyer, meets Barton Cabot older brother of CIA boss Lance Cabot. Lance hires Stone to watch his brother's back after his brother was attacked and severely injured.

Barton, as Stone learns, is a spy with a rather unusual hobby: building and restoring antique furniture.

Stone soon discovers that Barton and some shady characters of his acquaintance may be hiding a lot more than just a few forged antiques.
