[I admit to quickly skimming this book, which is all it requires.] If Abramsky is such and award-winning journalist - - or any other kind of journalist - - why was it he was unable to ascertain that the same people were financing and advising on the campaigns of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain? An advisor from the PR multinational firm based in the UK, WPP, on each one's staff? You've got Rubin advising Obama, and Phil Gramm advising McCain, and a similar type adivising Clinton? More free trade agreements for everyone!

The title is a bit grandiose. I don't believe the author managed to explain WHY Obama is as he is but merely repeated (often) what he is. The title might have more appropriately been, "Why I am an Obamaniac." But, as an Obamaniac, I have to say that there's not much new material here. But ya gotta love whoever loves him, right?
