Terrible, terrible book for low-carbing. I got this one in the hopes of having more choices for a kosher menu plan and, honestly, it's just not suitable. The author thinks anything 20 carbs or less is low-carb, she includes all sorts of inappropriate side dishes, and doesn't even count the carbs consistently well.
For example, if you're going to make a dip, you need something to eat it with. She suggests crackers. She adds regular flour, potatoes, and all sorts of higher carb items in her recipes that, if you cut them small enough portion-wise, will be "low-carb." Portion size, in some cases, is 2 or 3 bites, for something that costs 5 carbs or more per serving. Not helpful for a hungry person!
I was able to find a few recipes. But, if you are looking for a good Kosher cookbook that's low-carb, this is not an ideal choice. I don't know if there are better ones for Kosher. I'm looking.
