a fantastic performance in the lead role, by denzel. an even-handed exploration of the meaning and impact of the famous black leader who said, in comment about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, "The chickens came home to roost."

So close to home. I was born in these times and witness too much of the real thing in this movie.

This was an accurate account of how Malcolm Little transformed from being a criminal into becoming Malcom X through his conversion of Islam. It was through this journey that he later found out what true equality really was. It was too bad that some of his brothers didn't embrace his findings. But his impact still lives on today.

This video cassette tape is so worn out that it is unwatchable. It should be thrown out. The sound is so muffled you can't hear it and tracking obscures the picture.
