Admittedly, I'm a sucker for detective-fiction TV. Being new to this MM series, I was impressed with this one. Love the characters. Reminds me of Inspector Morse, etc. Other episodes already reserved to try.

In "Beyond the grave" a woman believes she is loosing her mind because she keeps seeing signs that her deceased husband is trying to contact her. She sees things move, writings on the walls, and screams in terror. People start dying inside the church and in the attached grave yard. The producers of Midsomer Murders love to take their digs at the church and anyone that believes in God. Of course, nothing better than God ever gets offered. Money or the prospect of getting your hands on it makes people do all kinds of injustices. Story line is flaky.
