This is a terrific (legal) read and as promised, it delivers enough twists and turns to make you dizzy. The characters are very well developed and even if you hadn't read Dugoni before, no worries; you will want to catch up on his other books. I read it in one sitting; couldn't put it down. This guy can write and Murder One would make a superb movie.

"In this 4th book in the series starring Seattle attorney David Sloane, he's returned to work a year after the murder of his wife. At his first public event, he's approached by Barclay Reid, a fellow lawyer who's mourning the drug-related death of her daughter. Barclay wants David to represent her in a case against the Russian dealer she believes caused her daughter's death, and everything is moving along fine until the dealer is found dead - and Barclay is accused of his murder. With a clever plot and well-developed characters, Robert Dugoni should be a shoe-in for fans of Scott Turow." The book was okay – but not one of my favorites.

This is my favourite book by Dugoni. The plot is developed extremely well, with strong and believable characters, good dialogue, and a writing style that lends itself to make the reader stay up much longer than intended not wanting to put the book down
