I like this book because it has recipes based on what your reading. For example, if you are reading about this girls mom making chocolate pudding, it will give you a real life recipe to use. Also, it is an interesting book for a kid going into fifth grade because that is the grade that the child in the book is going into. Finally, there is this thing called sweet semester where all the children in a fifth grade class bake something and then they get judged on they best baked good. They also have to write and essay on their baked good. The winner gets to have their picture taken and put in the newspaper.
