This is one of the best Teaching Company videos I have seen. Every wondered how they determine the ages of stuff? From dendrochronology, sedimentation layers, radioactive dating, this explains how things are dated from a few years ago to the very beginning of the Universe.

Helfand is engaging and entertaining, and explains the concepts clearly.
