Fairy-Tale Detectives Sabrina and Daphne Grimm are back for more adventures in Ferryport Landing. In a town full of powerful and mysterious Ever Afters-- and a sprinkling of normal folks-- the two girls try to have normal lives while solving mysteries with their Granny Relda. Forced to attend school, Sabrina and Daphne reluctantly pack their things and off they go. Daphne becomes an instant star, while Sabrina must deal with horrible teachers, mean bullies and homework! Even worse, a spider monster kills her teacher, Mr. Grumpner. At the crime scene, she discovers a red palm print on the chalkboard. It seems that the Scarlet Hand, the same group who kidnapped the Grimms' parents, is up to no good again, and only the girls can stop their devious plot.
