While Peter and Mary Jane are on a date in Central Park watching a meteor shower on one of Peter's webs, a small meteorite crashes nearby. An extraterrestrial symbiote, which looks like black tar, attaches itself to Peter's moped. Elsewhere, escaped prisoner Flint Marko is being chased by the police. He climbs a security fence and falls into an experimental particle accelerator, which fuses his body with the surrounding sand. He finds he can shapeshift at will and becomes the Sandman. Peter's best friend, Harry Osborn, who knows Peter is Spider-Man and responsible for his father's death, attacks Peter on the way home from his Aunt May's apartment using new weapons based on his father's Green Goblin technology. In the attack, Harry injures his head on a pipe and suffers from partial amnesia (loss of short-term memory), making him forget his revenge and that Peter is Spider-Man.

Add a CommentThe addition of Venom should have been executed better.
It was great, but so depressing.
Not enough of spidermans greatest villain venom. He should have been the main villain in this film. Well i guess thats why there making a solo venom movie. But this is still a decent movie.
I agree, the Sandman was ok, but Venom got very little screen time. Not as good as the two before it but still not to bad.
P.S. Going into a cathedral and praying for someone else to be destroyed does not work. If someone does wrong towards you, go into a cathedral (or church) and forgive that person.
This movie would have been much better if it had focused on Venom.
Very action & drama packed!!! LOVED it!!!
Ok movie. Worth a watch.
Really enjoyed this especially the darker Spider-Man. This movie didn't disappoint.
I look at Spiderman 3 to be a much darker story than the previous two installments, however retains much of the appeal of the series. In this one, Peter Parker aka Spiderman faces the Sandman and his newest nemesis Venom. Many of the old faces return. James Franco as Harry Osbourne aka the New Green Goblin still wants revenge against his friend for the death of his father. Mary Jane's relationship with Parker becomes strained with the introduction of Gwen Stacey. Faced with insurmountable odds, will Spiderman save the day?Watch and find out!
it the best movie i ever seen in my whole life.
