His name is Rafer Callahan. He was a kid from the wrong side of the tracks who fought through life the only way he knew how: with his fists. But Rafer never meant to bring any harm to Cambria Flannigan, the girl--the lover--whose sister he'd been unable to save...

Cami lost her sister in the brutal murders that rocked her hometown so many years ago. Some still believe that Rafe, along with his friends Logan and Crowe, were involved. But how could Rafe--who haunted her girlish dreams, then her adult fantasies--be a killer? That is the question that keeps her up at night.

Now a prosperous ranch owner, Rafe is trying to build a new legacy for himself. It's finally time to settle the score with Cami--and make her his. But old wounds open up with a series of new murders...and each of the victims has a connection to Rafe, Logan, and Crowe. With suspicion, fear, and loyalty tearing her apart, Cami is once again at risk of losing her heart--or her life.

Terrible editing, confused writing, this book is like an initial rough draft. It was basically a rehash of characters, plotlines, descriptions, dialogue, scenes from the author's other books (like her Nauti series). This book makes me not want to read any more from this author.

Poor editing, bad grammar, confusing details. this story line need a re-write. why all the man in her books have to be dominant ? I hope bk 4 is a slam-dunk...and I pray it's the last bk in this series. I am tired of reading about the same plot in all her books.

THe basic story is good but Lora Leigh had a lot of errors that could have been corrected by some editing. At times I believe she had messed up the ages of the characters, how old they were at certain times, how many years are between come of them. Also I think she had some names that were messed up. I am still not entirely sure which guy had which parents and how the uncle was actually related to the main guy.

First of a new series with 3 cousins, Rafer, Crowe & Logan. This book was about Rafer. There was a long time line and it was pretty choppy but relatively OK. I'm kind of sick of virgins being instant sexual dynamos, and the only attractive man being a "dominant" man, but the sensuality was there.

Good bones for a great story, however horrible editing, makes it very hard to read. Starts with lots of background material, which is great, however the background seems to change to fit whatever scene is happening. Hopefully the next book in the series has much better editing.

What happened to this series? Too much information at the beginning of the book, hard to keep all those details when trying to figure out what is going on. Heroine suffers for 12 years. Poor editing. I have read better books from Lora Leigh. Hard to bring me to finish it. Hope next book is better. Lora Leigh should slow down a little bit and dedicate more time to her books, editing, grammar, spelling, etc. ahh, plot.

Poor editing makes this book difficult to read. Names and ages of characters are changed throughout the book making you think you've lost your mind. Lora Leigh is a talented writer so it's painful to witness this downward spiral her books are in.
