Most of her life, Emma has been gearing up to be a dragon-slayer like her mother. But when her assignment comes, she is suddenly forced to be a fairy-slayer. Not only is this a far cry from dragon-slaying, but fairies are annoying and nearly impossible to kill. Then a gigantic, lethally dangerous fairy arrives, and only Emma can see it. A light-hearted romp with a fun adventure element. Unfortunately, the back cover makes it seem a little more light-hearted than it actually is, which is not the author’s fault, but does detract from the book itself because you have to adjust your expectations when you should be enjoying the story.

Very addictive, it'd be a book for any one who enjoys magic and adventure with a hint of romance and anyone who enjoys kick-butt heroines

I wish there would be another book continuing this story, but I'm afraid it might take away the magic of this novel. I loved this novel! Emma is a strongheaded heroine that everyone will learn to love.

This book was really interesting. It really captured her evolution from her hating her job to her elation from being one. I recommend it!

Not a bad book. Good for a short quick read. Sometimes a little hard to follow, but great for a stand alone book! More for fictional story line lovers.

It is not very often that i actually put a book aside and say, i don't want to finish it ..... but i did.
The idea was great, but the author couldn't keep me glued to the book. It wasn't for me but might be for someone else.
