A richly developed story in a village set in Scotland. Quite a different approach to a mystery which I found refreshing. It didn't take me long to adjust to the different approach. The author provides a Main Characters list which in itself told me that the story would be more complex than I first thought. I intend to check out other books written by Evelyn Hood.
