A very strange and startling story revolving around Danish royalty, very dark family secrets, and grappling with growing old. Nothing of which I expected from this book - all of which pleasantly surprised me.

First time I've read this noted author. Loved the writing, humor, insight, story line. Definitely will read more. A truly great American voice.
