Glasgow's finest take on the city's worst crimes in Taggart, a gripping cop drama with a hard-edged Scottish burr. Witty scripts and deadpan humor give this quintessentially Scottish series universal appeal.

After watching one and a half season, confirmed that the Chief Inspector is leading the whole team not investigating murders, but spending 90% of their time arguing with suspects, and get led by to-be suspects round the garden, adding the insubordination of the sergeant Robbie just to create some furious scenes believing that they will increase the tension. It's all about how well the series are scripted and directed. Please take some time to learn from Foyle's War, Midsommer Murders, George Gently, Inspector Lynley, Inspector Morse, Inspector Lewis, Doctor Blake, Broken Woods etc. etc.

Kind of a Scottish "Law and Order".
I saw the first two episodes.

Well done, but
...not really my 'cup of tea'
(but others love it).
