When Gowan Stoughton, Duke of Kinross, meets a lady as serene as she is beautiful, he promptly asks for her hand in marriage. When her father accepts the offer, Edie panics because she can't remember Gowan or anyone else from her debut ball. When the marriage implodes, she locks herself in a tower, leaving Gowan to find a way to win her back.

Inane story, not worth reading. About two people who are virgins and their struggle in bed to make things work. Not a good Eloisa James read.
