Carson Fender is in seventh grade and he lives in North Dakota. He thinks North Dakota is boring and there is nothing to do. He finds out that he is wrong when he discovers that a secret government agency is headquartered in his hometown. Carson unwittingly gets himself involved in the secret agency when he opens a package given to him by a mysterious stranger.
