I wasn't a fan of this book. If you want more exotic, modern mini quilts or projects such as quilted bags or pillows, then this book is for you. For a true beginner, this isn't a book I would try first.

I'll definitely want to come back to this book a few times. The "Square in a square" project really set off tons of ideas for me. Wonderfully simple, straightforward, approachable projects. Excellent for a beginner to sewing.
