I really enjoyed this book and liked how easily and simply it explained the various transformations of water. Excellent book and beautiful illustrations.

Pretty boring. The illustrations are beautiful would be great for a story, but there's no story here. It says it explains the water cycle, but you have to understand the water cycle in the first place to figure out how these little rhymes follow the water cycle. There is a textbook explanation of the water cycle at the end, but what kid wants to read that? I think it's mostly meant as an introduction to preachy environmentalism for young children. I'm sure they will have enough political correctness forced down their throats in school so take this time to enjoy a good story like Curious George, Madeline, or Make Way for Ducklings with them instead.
