Because she came to the conclusion that "the things that are required in a relationship are not things I'm willing to do," Whoopi decided to write openly about why marriage isn't for everyone and how being alone can be satisfying. What's most important is understanding what makes you happy.
"The award-winning entertainer, social advocate and host of The View shares frank advice on how to achieve happiness in relationships, explaining how to prioritize one's own well-being and recognize if marriage is the right choice,"--Novelist.

Just started reading and I'm already giving a 5. EVERYTHING I feel I should have known before this "relationship" scene started.
**EDIT: Almost finished in one sitting, but not quite--sometimes I had to stop and think about a minute or so. Definitely worth every minute and more!! Five golden stars on my booklist.

This is one funny and accurate book. I laugh so hard. I will be giving this book to my daughter when she turns 18 years old. Before she starts dating. Lord have mercy.

I cringed the first time Goldberg uses the "F" word and closed the book the second time. I thought that this book was going to be thought provoking, especially coming from a popular, avant-garde personality but it becomes apparent pretty quickly that it's a rant. She should edit this down to a monologue and use it in her comedy sketches; that's where it belongs.

An attempt to make money only. Terrible advice no one should ever take. Just because you are a selfish, greedy person does not give you the right to author a book. Publishers should not waste their time. Don't waste your money or your time.
