Jack Morgan, owner of Private security firm, stops by his Paris office and finds himself drawn into a missing persons case from a long-time California client. As he hunts for the missing granddaughter, Jack is drawn into a Paris where the Muslim underclass is near revolt and members of the French cultural elite are being murdered as a political message. Patterson uses his time-proven formula of fast action, quick dialog, and loosely drawn characters to create what my father used to call "airport novels". I always feel like Patterson is writing books that could easily be turned into movies with a just a little script doctoring.
