Very disappointing. This author used this book(a book that technically could be read by middle-school and high school students, as it was school appreciate and published by Scholastic) to push her own political agenda, claiming that all adults are racists, that "bro culture" and "closet racism" is widespread in companies(even when it is practically non-existent), and that kids should always side with protesters, whether they are right or not. Not only that, but the author writes a very depressing tale that is still not resolved at the end. Overall, a give this book a 6/10 and a "Would Not Recommend Reading" review.
