I realize that WWII had just ended, and it was undoubtedly hugely emotional in the U.S., and worldwide, at that time. And I absolutely love my country, God bless it, but this was a lot of anti-Japanese propagandist bunk. Karate-chop Cagney vs. the plotting, sneaky Japanese, portrayed primarily by non-Asians (!) How embarrassing some of our film and television history is. Political correctness has gotten out of control, but this is a prime, insulting example of why it should exist. I'd try to be understanding watching this were I a Japanese individual, but it wouldn't be easy. It ruined any respectability and credibility the film might've had otherwise.
