This is a dumb comedy, and sometimes that's just what I think I need. If you like the leads, like I do, it is above average; if you don't, it's just average. Try to enjoy the road trip journey since the destination/conclusion is pretty disappointing. Most of the writing is predictable, however, there are a couple of times it strays from the obvious course. Father Figures is rated R for language and sexual references throughout.

This movie was actually very funny. My husband and I both enjoyed this movie. I think you would be pleasantly surprised.

A very poorly written script trying, no forcing to tear a heart strings but failing. 40 year old males with daddy issues is just not funny

It has a few funny moments, a nice message at the end. A bit slow in places so I wouldn't say comedy. Some great acting.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this movie - gave it a 7 out of 10! It was very well-acted and well-written. Quite enjoyable all the way through. We especially liked J.K. Simmons' acting, but they actually all did a great job. Thumbs up!

Road trip movie between brothers trying to find their dad. A lot of comical situations ensue. Most of the gags were pretty funny with a heartfelt ending.

It's a good comedy movie.
