When I really love a book, I find myself wanting to know more about the characters. What happened before the book was set and what happened after the book ends. Rebound by Kwame Alexander fills both of those "wants" for me as it is the prequel to his beloved book, Crossover, but also continues the story. I loved reading about Josh & Jordan's dad and what happened to him when he was their age. I especially enjoyed how Kwame adds more at the end of the book and brings us forward in time to when Josh & Jordan are preparing to go to college. This is a must read for Kwame Alexander fans!
