An amazing conclusion to the Lux Series!!! I didn't really love the first book but the others made this series worthwhile! Shadows was really engaging and interesting AND I FREAKED OUT SO MUCH BECAUSE BETHANY AND DAWSON ARE SOOOO CUTE!! pardon my sort-of rant. Shadows and Opposition were wicked!

Ohmagosh thank you! Finally, after a year and a half of waiting, Katy and Daemon's story continues!
Okay I'll admit, it took me a little bit (and some plot searching on the internet) to remember what exactly happened the last time we followed these characters. SO, I was mind-blown by Daemon's betrayal! NO! That hit me hard, but thankfully he was just pretending (which, duh, I should have guessed), meaning he valued everything that had occurred between him and Kat in the last four books, and thankfully hadn't just forgotten it all. Everything in this story worked perfectly- the believable destruction and movement of the invading Luxen (those jerks!), the horror and revulsion of the Arum leader, the government trying to fight back. Even the epilogue was accurate, with Luxen prejudice occurring each day. (Spoiler: Speaking of the epilogue, Ashley was absolutely adorable! XD XD XD SO CUTE! I feel a bit bad for Luc though, given how things most likely ended up for Nadia) The controversial turning of Dee was a horrific shock (SP: I was so glad when she broke free from their hold! And of course she was apologizing left, right and upside-down), and Archer's character has been more developed. Meaning, I love him too. He's just one of the family. Bethany and Dawson are adorable, and Bethany is becoming more and more stable with the extended amount of time that she hasn't had to deal with Daedalus. Bird-walk- Daedalus is broken up! Yes!!!!!!!!! (SP And Nancy is dead XD EVEN THOUGH SHE FLIPPING SHOT DAEMON, ALMOST KILLED HIM, AND GAVE ME A BROKEN-HEART ATTACK IN THEN PROCESS) (SP I can't believe her mom was killed! I didn't feel strongly attached to her anymore since I haven't read about in, yea, over a year, but still! How cruel authors can be!!!!) (The Arum coming to help fight off the Luxen was brilliant!!! Perfect, established way to tie up the invading problem (at least it wasn't like a mysterious new weapon that targets guilty Luxen just magically popped up in a epic Deus ex Machina ending) The plans for college and a wedding were a perfect wrap up for the lives of Katy and Daemon. I'm going to miss them in the world of literature :( They will go down in my Celebrity Book Couples Hall of Fame for all of history.
