The book Walk two Moons by Sharon Creech is about a 13-year-old girl named Salamanca (Sal) who’s mom went on a road trip and never came back. Her grandparents decide to take her on a road trip following the path that her mom made. On the way, Sal tells the story of her Phoebe, a friend with an overactive imagination. THE PART OF THE SUMMARY BELOW THIS MESSAGE CONTAINS SPOILER ALERTS SO DO NOT READ IF THAT WILL BOTHER YOU!!! Her grandma (Gram) has a stroke and her grandpa (Gramps) won’t leave her side so he gives her the keys to the car and says that she can drive the rest of the way to Lewiston Idaho. When she gets to Lewiston Idaho (where they last herd from her) we learn that Sal knew that her mom died in a bus crash but couldn’t except it until she saw it in person and when she gets back to Gramps, she learns that Gram died at three o’clock that morning.
