Wonderful account of the pre Salem witch trials of the late 1600's. This historical novel described very well the relationship between the colonies and post Cromwell nobility in England...a part of history we don't hear much about. I'd definitely recommend it. The only negative was that it was a little hard to follow in the first 20% of the book. However, once I understood why the location was switched back and forth, it became very interesting and exciting!
