Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had just the right amount of suspense, drama and horror to encourage me to stay up late into the night, just wanting to know what would happen next. The Hypnotist is about a bunch of complicated crimes, with the lead detective, Joona Linna, trying to solve them all without twisting them together. My only complaint would be that some chapters seemed to be only filler chapters, and dragged on for an unnecessary amount of time. Other than that, the Hypnotist is one of my most favourite books, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who can stomach it. I would rate it a 7/10. @Sonorous of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board The Hypnotist was a really good read, it was just incredibly long and sometimes, I just don't got time for that. Nonetheless, it was really good with a super thick plotline that kept me wanting to read more by each chapter. Swedish writer Lars Kepler investigated some dark themes with lots of reality, which was really enjoyable for me. I would recommend it if you have a lot of time on your hands. @SecretBlossom of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
