A really thought-provoking book that plunges into the world of captive orcas. Along the way, we get introduced to a series of human characters, their motives, their lives, and their connections with these very wronged animals. Another reason to love the library! As a (relatively?) new release, it would've been expensive to buy. Thank you OPL for adding it to your collections. Read this and discover why keeping orcinus orcas in captivity is so cruel to them...and ultimately to us. Just like tigers, lions, elephants, and monkeys, these are not circus animals. Just because it's in the water and not on dry land doesn't mean it's right. I've never been to SeaWorld or Marineland. And after reading this, I have no plans to change that. If you've ever been, just check this out! Even if it won't change your mind, it may open your eyes to the cruelty behind-the-scenes in "sea parks".
