This audio is very good. I tend to enjoy darker stories yet this was not really light. The narrator has much to do w/bringing the story to life & he did a good job w/this book. Dodger is independent yet faithful to the few he is close to. He's a hard worker has a good outlook on life in general & at the same time he is somewhat layed back. Sure he's a sewer diver but he's a good person. A character that I feel for, & root for. This author is very talented & like few other collaborations the narrator seems to be the perfect match. Abercrombies. 1 st law & Bernard Cornwells Samson series are my favorite types of book that have wonderful narrators that bring to life their stories but as a change of pace, this is a very nice find. There are not many good, somewhat realistic books w/drama, comedy, struggling against the odds etc that then have the perfect reader for that story. I'm glad I came across this one & if anyone has suggestions for me, with my other preferences in mind, I would very much appreciate the recommendations.
