As a person who is a major Hip Hop head I don't normally listen to Country music but I have to say Kacey Musgraves 'Golden Hour' was a really solid album. It was in heavy rotation for me last Winter and also into the New Year. Can't say enough good things about it. It's got it's country roots but I think it feels more like Indie Folk. The record label really play out her vision which is rare. It even comes as close to Dream-Pop Country as you can get.' If you're an Indie head you'll have an appreciation for 'Golden Hour'. It may not be everyone's thing but don't deny the talent. The song writing alone should be noted and welcomed from hip hop fans in terms of quality and authenticity. This sounds corny, but 'Golden Hour' transcends genre, its brilliant. Hope everyone can give it a fair shake and see why it won Album of the Year at the Grammy's.. No other album was better than 'Golden Hour'.
